My fiancees blue lips said this
It's 08:34 I'm about to brush my teeth before my coffee (story for tomorrow) Jen (my fiancee) has this weird blue lipstick on that stains her lips pink, and said something that sparked this email.
I was talking to Jen about my brand-new, hella-chunky Modern Haircutting Manual that I'll be releasing in just a matter of weeks.
I was saying to her that this isn't some glammed-up book designed to "look and feel expensive" it's a manual.
It's supposed to be read and written in over the next 3 years, minimum.
When i say written in that's because I've added 3 years worth of note taking pages throughout the manual for you to come back to each year for 3 years and make notes on what you've learned in the past 12 months.
then she said it:
"So it's a journal then."
I was stunned.
I replied: "I guess it kinda can be"
I forgot for a second just how important taking notes is to express gratitude for what we have, and who we are, and thought:
"Maybe the manual might act as a kinda journal to some people. That would be pretty cool."
That's the whole point, the Modern Haircutting Manual is going to be so much more than some pages that you flick through once in a while, I'm building something much bigger that every owner of the Modern Haircutting Manual will have access to.
The manual is just step 1 of a much larger creation.
All manual owners will automagically be invited into the second stage (because it's one of the bonuses that's "baked in" to the manual.
This bonus is an extension of the manual, where I'll be able to provide you with tonnes more value, for no extra cost.
We'll be able to hang out and talk about hair together, LIVE.
Like I said, the manual is just step 1 of something much bigger.
Speak inabit.
