Not everything goes to plan

I was gobsmacked!

This morning, I went to calculate the new cost of international shipping of "The Modern Haircutting Manual", and to my surprise, it came up as £52.75 or $75 to ship.

And I've promised you Free shipping worldwide, which I'm sticking to.

The Modern Haircutting Manual is obnoxiously CHUNKY.

This was on purpose.

However, with the weight of the manual and the size of the packaging, the shipping is just too much.

And I've got 50 of them sitting in my house.

The solution?

I've ordered 50 more, kept the same quality paper stock, but used both sides of the paper this time instead of one side.

This will cut the weight of the manual in half, which will bring the shipping down. (Not by half, but by a decent amount at least.)

Believe me, don't think I haven't thought:

"This would be so much less painful if it were digital."

But, were would the fun in that be?

holding something physical feels much better.

It's something I can point to and say:

"I created that."

Anyway, you should know the date and time of the release of the manual by now.

Oh, and by the way, they will only be available for 24 hours.

I'm only making 1 trip to the post office per month.
