Now you are getting comfortable with how to operate at a high standard

You are moving on to shapes that are more commonly used in the shop

You now have full understanding and control of each section that you cut

Your understanding moves from:

“I know the shapes”

To

“I can build any shape”

This is where you separate yourself

Phase 4: Round Graduation

By this stage, you are no longer guessing

You are operating at a higher standard

You can create any shape at any length

You are confident in your methods, and you can explain to others what you’re doing

You may even be approached by other barbers to teach them (this happens a lot)

By this point, you will be cutting hair like nobody else

You will be by far the most knowledgeable and respected Barber in your area, and you will start to imagine becoming an educator - if that is something that you want
